The Assistance for Arts Education Center (AAEC) is thrilled to release the “Teaching Artist Training Tips” guide designed to assist schools and arts centers better partner with teaching artists. Teaching artists are pivotal to the arts education ecosystem; however, they are not always provided the support needed to collaborate with schools or districts authentically. The recommendations included in our quick reference guide were generated by the current AAE Grantees through a conversation in their Collective Impact Community of Practice and are based on solutions discovered through AAE project implementation.
